Greetings from Bala Vikasa, India.

Bala Vikasa, Telamgana, India and Comprehensive Rural Health Project (CRHP), Jamkhed, Maharashtra, India jointly organize four week International Experiential course in Sustainable Community Health and Development(SCHD) from 5-31 August, 2019 at Bala Vikasa People Development Training Center (PDTC), Warangal and CRHP campus, Maharashtra.

The Sustainable Community Health and Development (SCHD) course is a four-week field exposure and capacity building residential training program for students and development professionals. The SCHD course aims to improve knowledge, enhance skills, and introduce additional perspectives to students and leaders who aspire to learn about integrated, community-centered, and sustainable development. First, a two-week module on Community Driven Development will be held at the Bala Vikasa People Development Training Center in Warangal, Telangana. Then, participants will attend a two-week module on Sustainable Health at the Comprehensive Rural Health Project in Jamkhed, Maharashtra. Participants will learn through a combination of theoretical modules and field exposure visits to rural and urban communities.
